It is extremely difficult to say exactly how much your website will cost without knowing anything about your requirements, but below is a basic outline of how we calculate costs.

A budget will always be agreed upon before any work is carried out. Your domain name registration and your hosting for the first year are included in the initial set up costs.

Static Content sites

Costs are basically £45 per hour so:

Front page, Templates and setup costs: £450 - 1200 depending on complexity

Additional pages: £45 per page

Small Website Example with no complex animations= Front page and set up costs £450, with four additional pages at £45 each*: £180+£450= £630 in total.

Updating existing pages: £45 per page

Search Engine Optimisation: £45 per page

Content Management Sites

The hourly charge is £45.

A Content Management project has many factors involved that can vary the price enormously.

A standard CMS site with one template will take 30 hours to complete and therefore cost you £1350.

This fee includes a logo design, creating a look and feel that matches your business or project, setting up the database and a short training session to show you how to add your own content.

The above price does not include the purchase of a Content Management System, though there are many such script available for free that can be easily modified to suit your needs.

A larger, more complicated Content Management Site’s costs can run into many 1000s of pounds depending on your needs, especially if you require a bespoke script that is specifically written for your company or project and require additional templates.
